Struck or Run-Over by Crazy Driver?

- August 19th, 2016

According to a new study, Miami is the 4th most dangerous city for pedestrians.
Pedestrians here are more likely to be hit as a result of many factors including traffic volume, pedestrian activity, construction sites, and of course the horrible, horrible drivers that populate our streets. Many people speed through residential and tourist neighborhoods with reckless abandon. This exponentially increases the chances for a auto/ pedestrian accident.

Any auto/pedestrian accident is almost guaranteed to cause catastrophic injuries.  It is important to immediately take photos and get the driver's information, including the tag number immediately after the accident, as these types of accidents result in many hit and run incidents.
This highlights another reason to maintain a substantial Uninsured/Underinsured motorist coverage on your own car:  If struck by a hit and run, Underinsured, or Uninsured driver, your own insurance will cover you.
If run over or struck with a car and injured in South Florida, whether it is on South Beach, Miracle Mile, AIA, in Little Havana, or anywhere in Dade county, the standard operating procedure is the same:
Call the police  and ambulance immediately, take photos of car and scene, go to the hospital to get checked out, call your loved ones, and then Call B-Luc! Benjamin Lucas, P.A. will fight to make right what once went wrong and seek justice for you and your loved ones.
